Howdy y'all, this is Lucius here. The Bad For Business Band is my project, and so far I am the only member of the band. I write music and lyrics. I play guitar (rhythm and lead) and also banjo, mandolin, fiddle, keyboard, percussion, pretty much any instrument. I am hoping to find a good female singer and at least one other guitar player to trade off rhythm with, maybe a bass or cello player, and possibly a percussionist/drummer who doesn't play too loud in my ear in small enclosed spaces. I will be willing to share songwriting and/or vocal duties with anyone as long as I agree with the content and approve it in advance of a show. I think the sound I produce is something that combines folk and rock with bluegrass, soul, gypsy jazz, Texas swing, flamenco, blues, outlaw country and various other Americana and world influences.
Basically the idea is to form a group that can adjust schedules to find enough time to practice at least 1-3 times per week, then after we have a bunch of new original songs, we'll focus on promotion and getting gigs and earning recognition. Hope to hear from you. My email is:
