the message below was posted on facebook in a "closed" group called Local Musicians that Letha Basinger created...she posted the following message to the group on 121310...read on...

Dear Local Musician Friends,
I met the new owner of Papa Geno's in Manor. His name is Tony. He has a fun little Karoke thing going on Saturdays, but after speaking with me he very much wants to have performers for Fridays, between 8 and 11 pm. There is currently no money available for performing acts, but if you would like to be a part of getting this off the ground please let me know. Acoustic sets, 30 minutes to 3 hours. Are you interested?

it would be cool if a bunch of us showcased together at this venue...cooler if we get this place hoppin' with great live music and business for the new management....maybe even work toward getting PAID gigs....one never knows....good luck to all!
